Yarn & Whiskers

 It has been almost a year ago since I've last written a blog post. Where has the time gone? It's now summer, and between the relentless rain and the sweltering sun, I find myself spending a lot more time indoors... 

I enjoy going outside to walk around at least once a day. Seeing new flowers bloom, hearing the birds sing, and coming across an interesting insect are enough to remind me that living is worth it as there will always be blessings to look forward to. Though, there is a benefit to being stuck indoors; I am forced to acknowledge my own space beyond a casual glance. I have made adjustments to my working area, tidied around, and even hung a new shelf upon my bedroom wall. 

I can't complain too much about the rain after all. I'm sure the new strawberry plants I've obtained this year are appreciating it! I hope to propagate more of them over time, and I'm eager to try sowing some Canterbury bells this coming July. 

I've been crafting a lot over the past few months. Maybe I'll share some of the things I've made soon...
